At Intermountain Healthcare, Dr. Benjamin Q. Chan is a primary care physician who specializes in senior care for adults 65 and older. His best days at work are when he is able to help a patient feel better by providing personalized, quality healthcare. Dr. Chan is passionate about helping people and strives to provide the best care for each and every one of his patients.

Dr. Chan completed his undergraduate degree at the University of the Philippines. He received his medical degree from Far Eastern University – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation and completed his residency at North Oakland Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practicing medicine for over 30 years.

Dr. Chan was born and raised in Manila, Philippines where his natural ability for school and biology led him to pursue a career in medicine. If he had not become a physician, Dr. Chan says he would likely be reading, golfing and pursuing photography as a career. Something patients may be surprised to learn is that Dr. Chan has published 8 books.
