Dr. Christo Hadjiev joined Intermountain Healthcare in the fall of 2020. He enjoys developing care plans and interacting with his patients. He emphasizes the importance of a healthy diet and a regular exercise routine.

Dr. Hadjiev earned his MD at the Medical University of Sofia. While serving in the military, he was a physician at the Central Military Sports Club in Sofia. He did his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University Hospital in Sofia and was a visiting clinical fellow at Hyogo Medical College in Japan, where he trained in Doppler ultrasound procedures. He was a perinatology fellow at Asahikawa Medical College in Japan where he developed projects in OB/GYN ultrasound and published clinical articles in Japan and the US. He later served as executive director of gynecology in a hospital in Sofia.

Upon moving to America, Dr. Hadjiev did residency in family practice at the University of Arkansas and went on to practice in Arizona and Wisconsin. He served in urgent care and emergency medicine in clinics and hospitals in Wisconsin and Arizona as well.

In his spare time, Dr. Hadjiev enjoys hiking, reading, and socializing with his family.
