Colleen’s grandmother and great-grandmother were nurses, and she sees the quality care she provides her patients as continuing a family tradition. She shares Intermountain Health’s vision of patient-centered comprehensive care and enjoys building long-term relationships with the patients whose lives she touches through her senior care practice.
Before joining Intermountain Health, Colleen worked as an RN and later became a Family Nurse Practitioner so she could see her patients through their journey to better health. Among other things, Colleen is skilled at performing physical exams and educating patients on disease prevention and proper use of medication.
When she’s not at work, Colleen enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband, their young son, and their dog.
Colleen earned her MS in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University and her BS in Nursing from the University of St. Francis. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Colleen is active in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Nurses Association. She has served as a member of an Acute Stroke Team and has made presentations before several professional nursing organizations.
