Dr. Divina Gracia Averilla brings more than 20 years of experience in multi-cultural healthcare including total patient care from pediatrics through geriatrics. She enjoys taking time to diagnose patients that others find too challenging.
In her spare time, Dr. Averilla enjoys travel, water sports, nature hikes, and studying stem cell medicine. She says patients often remark that she looks too young to be a physician. Growing up in the Philippines, she speaks English, Tagalog and some Spanish, so she can communicate well with a wide variety of patients.
She earned her MD from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines, and completed her residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Parkridge, Illinois. She served as a Family Practitioner in Illinois before coming to Las Vegas, where she served in the Primary Care and Urgent Care Clinics at the University Medical Center. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine Family Practice and a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Practice.
