A Las Vegas native, Joyce Balingit, FNP-C, remembers never consistently seeing one primary care provider, which made her realize there is a shortage of primary care providers in the Valley. She always loved helping people and taking care of them. Joyce graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She went on to work as a nurse in oncology and critical care and saw an even greater need to help people stay healthy and prevent sicknesses. With a desire to work in preventive medicine, Joyce earned a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from Touro University Nevada. Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Joyce wants to be a primary care provider that patients can see throughout the years and refer to if they have any concerns. She loves seeing her patients’ health improve and knowing that she may have even played the smallest role gives her immense satisfaction.
When not working directly with patients, Joyce enjoys traveling with her husband and immersing herself in different cultures, and trying different cuisines. A true #potterhead, she loves Harry Potter and can answer any question.
