Kevin Springer, NP-C

Kevin Springer is proud to be part of a quality care team at Intermountain Health that can make a positive difference in patients’ lives. He likes to diagnose and identify problems and develop unique and effective solutions, and he enjoys motivating patients to participate in their own healthcare.

He also brings broad and deep experience to his adult medicine primary care position with Intermountain Healthcare. He began as a Medic in the United States Air Force. As an RN, he has provided cardiac and trauma critical care and has ER and telemetry experience. As a Nurse Practitioner, he has worked in primary care, urgent care, gastroenterology/hepatology/liver transplants, ICU and cardiac telemetry, implemented a chronic kidney disease program, mentored Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students, and conducted clinical trials for new diabetes and thyroid medications.

Mr. Springer holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing from the Orvis School of Nursing at University of Nevada, Reno. He has been an investigator in research on topics involving diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, and anemia. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
