Dr. Neville Mistry brings six years of specialized cardiology practice to his position at Intermountain Health. He strives to improve patients’ lives through structural heart and complex coronary interventions, which he finds deeply challenging and rewarding.

Before joining Intermountain Health, Dr. Mistry served as a staff Interventional Cardiologist, where he provided consultative cardiology, high-risk PCI, structural cardiology, noninvasive imaging, and STEMI coverage at three hospitals. He has performed procedures including cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary revascularization, impella placement, transesophageal echocardiography, and transcatheter valve replacement.

Both of Dr. Mistry’s parents practice medicine, as does his brother, and he grew up in the midst of an exceptional medical community in southeastern Virginia. He chose cardiology after watching both his father and grandfather suffer from heart disease. Today he is excited about the many new treatments available for valvular heart disease and has authored and co-authored numerous publications on cardiology topics.

Dr. Mistry holds a BS from Duke University, an MD from Baylor College of Medicine, and did fellowships in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Washington University Medical Center Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, and University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
