Dr. Patrick Keefe joined Intermountain Health because he supports our vision and efforts to provide each patient with quality care. He enjoys building a long-term relationship with patients and treating complex cases that require a thorough evaluation.

Dr. Keefe grew up in Mission Viejo, California and became interested in medicine because of his admiration of the American medical system. He began volunteering at free clinics before he attended medical school and was inspired by the broad scope of practice.

Dr. Keefe earned his BA in philosophy from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland, and his DO from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He did his residency at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, and an internship at Southeastern Health Hospital in Lumberton, North Carolina. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Keefe’s many research and publication credits include topics related to kidney disease, spinal cord maladies, and stroke.

In his free time, Dr. Keefe enjoys writing, music, hiking, and exploring philosophy.
