Dr. Sion Kim was drawn to Intermountain Health out of her desire to be part of a company that prioritizes excellent patient care and work-life balance for its providers and staff. She enjoys building long-term relationship with patients and serving as a health advocate for them. She thrives on the challenges of chronic medical management cases where she can help patients by promoting lifelong healthy habits.
Before joining Intermountain Health, Dr. Kim worked with the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, as an assistant professor. She earned her MD from University of Texas Medical School at Houston and her BS from Harvard University. She did her residency at Lincoln Family Medicine Residency in Nebraska. She has participated in primary care research on topics related to end-of-life care, diabetes, obesity, and nutrition.
