Dr. Trent Knewtson enjoys the diversity of cases he finds through working as a Primary Care Physician with Intermountain Health.
His medical background encompasses multiple facets of medicine, from urgent care to ER work to hospice. He has worked in private practice as well as serving as a clinical assistant professor at his alma mater. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Knewtson’s medical education began with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from the University of Kansas. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Trinity Luther Hospital in that same city.
In his spare time, Dr. Knewtson supports the Ronald McDonald House and enjoys golf and skiing. He also speaks some Spanish.
