A long time coming: Nellis myGeneration opens doors to new clinic

For close to 25 years, the Nellis myGeneration Senior Clinic served patients at the same location on Nellis Boulevard.

In that time, it became a valuable part of the neighborhood, helping a countless number of patients with both medical – and sometimes – nonmedical needs.

On April 10, 2023, the clinic moved and opened its doors to patients at its fresh new location just down the street from the old clinic.

“This has been a long time coming,” Practice Manager Misty Stubbs said. “It’s about our patients, our caregivers, and our community. Having all that is extremely exciting.”

The new office space features 16 exam rooms, a Licensed Practical Nurse exam room, the facility’s lab, and procedure room.

The layout features, what Misty calls, a unique “stage on, stage off.” Each exam room has two entrances – one for patients and one for caregivers. Patients no longer have to walk through the “call center” environment to get to an exam room, instead going through a dedicated hallway and entrance just for them.

“We’ve put a lot of thought and effort into the layout of our new office space,” Misty said.

Similar to the old location, the clinic features a community pantry that provides daily necessities from toilet paper to nonperishable food items.

“We have a lot of patients that have to choose between medication or eating that day,” Misty said. “So being able to provide that to patients and understanding their needs, it goes far beyond treating the medical side of our patients.”

Aside from the fresh look, Misty said patients can expect the same level of care they received at the former location with the same friendly faces that they have grown accustomed to seeing such as Diana Rodriguez, NP-C, Dr. Katrina Rathjen, Dr. Elizabeth Morgan, Dr. Art Roo Saberola, Nathania Park, NP-C, Dr. Tricia Murphy, and Dr. Jonathan Reboton.

“When you walk through the doors, we want it to feel like you are welcome, like this is your regular space that you could come to. We’re your friends. We’re your family,” Misty said. “We want you to join us and let us take care of you. I think my providers and caregivers are some of the greatest out there.  If you come here, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.”
