Amanda El-Sawaf, AGACNP-BC

Amanda El-Sawaf, a native of Tampa, Florida, attended the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, Amanda proudly spent her career working in various hospitals’ cardiology departments. In 2018, she returned to school and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, Amanda is passionate about diagnosing, treating, and evaluating patients with diseases. She has worked in several different cardiovascular specialties, including cardiac telemetry, management of CHF patients, cardiovascular surgical patients, and cardiac prevention.

When not in the clinic, Amanda spends her time with her husband, young child, and three dogs. Amanda would be working with animals if she had not chosen a medical career.
