Ashley McDowell joined Intermountain Health because she believes in patient-focused healthcare. Her biggest satisfaction is helping patients enjoy the best quality of life possible.
She was drawn to medicine even as a child, and originally considered specializing in dermatology, but as an intern she found her passion was caring for the elderly. Becoming a Physician Assistant has helped her to pursue her passion and continue to grow.
While earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada, she completed rotations in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, psychology, community medicine, and urgent care.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and Cardiology.
