Dayna Gerring, FNP-BC

Dayna Gerring grew up near Detroit, MI, where the industry is mostly automotive or healthcare. Her mother was a nurse and her inspiration for all things science and health-related. She became a hospital volunteer in high school, which helped further her desire to make a career in healthcare. Dayna worked as a certified nurse assistant through college. She graduated from nursing school in 2010 and worked as a nurse while pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University in Nashville. The transition to working as a provider was pure joy as Dayna was well prepared. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, her career experience includes wound care, primary care, and urgent care settings. As a provider, Dayna loves helping patients reach a health goal they thought was out of reach or too difficult to meet.

Dayna enjoys hiking with her family, watching movies, playing board games, and building things with Legos when not seeing patients.
