Dr. Ali Shehata brings more than 20 years of experience to his position at Intermountain Healthcare’s Desert Heights myGeneration Senior Clinic. He says he joined our organization because of our reputation for excellence and focus on patient care.

Dr. Shehata finds it most fulfilling when patients express their heartfelt satisfaction and when he sees they feel better, feel cared for, and feel safe. He enjoys passing along his expertise to the future generation of physicians and watching them mature and contribute to the care of patients.

He grew up in a rural part of Maryland near the Pennsylvania border, where he learned the importance of community relationships and developed a caring attitude in his medical practice.

In his spare time, Dr. Shehata supports charities that benefit orphans and provide food and water wells to the needy worldwide. He won an award from American Express for directing a video and enjoys creating multi-media projects.
